Ada Mae Catherine Harman, 100, of Davis, WV died September 25, 2011 at her home.
She was born December 25, 1910 in Red Oak, MD a daughter of the late Archibald Sylvester Lahman and Alphonsa Renny Liller Lahman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gordon Harman and 1 daughter, Janice Virginia Harman Roy. Survivors include 1 daughter, Gloria L. Harman Bozic of Davis, WV, 3 grandchildren; Michael D. Roy, Jerry E. Bozic, Diane Childers, 6 great-grandchildren; Katy, Luke and Molly Childers, Matthew Roy, Devanne Bozic, Ericka Barnes, 2 great great-grandchildren, Hunter and Anthony Barnes and 1 sister, Pauline Frazier, LA. Ada was a seamstress and worked in a drapery business for many years and then did office work. But mostly she was a very capable homemaker sewing curtains and clothes and doing many other household tasks and she enjoyed collecting antiques. At the request of the deceased her remains were cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
