Beulah Louise Burgess, 77, of Kingwood died on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Cortland Acres Nursing Home in Thomas, WV. Born on May 12, 1938 in Rowlesburg, WV, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Guy and Icis Melvina (Bufon) Moats. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Lloyd William Burgess; four children, Jimmy Moats, Raymond Burgess and wife Cindy, both of Aurora, Leasa Savage and husband Curtis of Bruceton Mills, WV and Treasa Sines and husband Henry of Friendsville; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a brother, Junior Moats of Oakland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Trenton Burgess and Jose Burgess; a great grandson, Zachariah Burgess; five brothers; and five sisters. Friends will be received at the Aurora Community Center on Monday, August 3rd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Community Center on Tuesday, August 4th at 11 AM with Pastor Don Forrester officiating. Interment will follow in the Aurora Cemetery. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is handling the arrangements.
