Beverly Gail Eye, 76, of Harman, passed away on August 31, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 26, 1949, in Harman, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Gale and Velma Elizabeth (Wymer) Cooper.
She graduated from Harman High School and worked as a bank teller and loan officer at Stockmans Bank of Harman, where she thrived in her role. A devoted member of Harman Presbyterian Church, she loved reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. She delighted in knitting afghans, watching movies and shows, swimming at Snap and Ruth's Pool, and sharing Sunday picnics with her family, creating cherished memories. Driving was a true passion, and she often joked that her job in Heaven would be driving a bus, joyfully picking everyone up. She captivated children with her imaginative, made-up stories, holding their rapt attention. She loved taking family and friends to amusement parks, riding thrilling rides, and made annual trips to Kings Dominion, as well as family vacations to the Outer Banks and Disney World. Her time with her husband, Robert, was precious, filled with love and laughter. With her fun-loving, larger-than-life personality, she left an indelible mark and will be forever missed.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Paul Eye, to whom she was married on September 15, 1973; her daughter, Tisha Dawn Mallow and husband Robbie of Harman; her grandson, Cade Riley Mallow and fiancée Alexia Fredell of Harman; three sisters, Norma J. Cooper and husband Harold Thompson of Harman, Rhonda J. Cooper and partner Herman Armentrout of Harman, and Charlotte Vance and husband Thomas of Georgia; a brother-in-law, John Dodd of Harman; a special niece, Leslie G. Bonner and husband Jeff of Harman; and a special nephew, Zeb Dodd of Harman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Jennifer L. Dodd, Sherry L. Cooper, and Mitchell L. Cooper, and her nephew, Brandon M. Heavner.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 12 noon, at the Job Church of God. A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon, in the church with Pastor Todd Rhodes officiating.
The Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes - Davis Chapel is honored to be serving Beverly's family.
