Bobetta Kay Presutti, 66, of Elkins, WV, passed away on February 28, 2026, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Convelescent Center. Born on August 8, 1959, in Parsons, WV, she was the daughter of the late Carl Ray Summerfield, Sr., and Barbara Ruth (Cosner) Summerfield.
Bobetta was a faithful and cherished member of the Gospel Light Tabernacle Church, where her quiet devotion and kind heart were a steady blessing to the congregation. She found deep contentment in her role as a homemaker and devoted mother, happily tending to her family and creating a warm, loving home filled with simple routines and care. She especially enjoyed living vicariously through the people she knew-the successes, milestones, and happy moments of her friends, neighbors, and church family brought her genuine joy and pride, as though their accomplishments were her own. Whether celebrating a young person's new job, a couple's anniversary, or a child's graduation, her face would light up with shared delight. Bobetta also treasured the warmth of her Firefly community gatherings and summer cookouts, where laughter, shared food, and easy conversation strengthened the bonds she held so dear. Her life was a gentle, beautiful example of finding fulfillment in faithfulness, family, and the triumphs of those around her.
She is survived by her son, James Persutti Jr., and his wife Alma Hernandez of Chesterfield, VA; and her four siblings, Tammy Darlene Haden and husband Rick of Beverly, WV, Danny Eugene Summerfield of Elkins, WV, Carl Ray Summerfield, Jr., and wife Debbie of Wardensville, WV, and Buddy Lynn Summerfield of Beverly, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bettina Summerfield.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 12 to 2 PM, at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes - Davis Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM with Rev. Albert H. Belt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Storm Cemetery.
