Dale Allen Pennington

Dale Allen Pennington, 56, of Thomas, WV, passed away on August 29, 2026. Born on November 16, 1969, in Elkins, he was the son of Clifford "Jim" and LuRae (Gotto) Pennington.

Dale enjoyed his time working for Huffman logging company and loved to run heavy equipment like his skidder. He loved to go on ATV's rides and take long trips down the back roads. He also loved animals and especially his two pups Diesel and Little Man. He also loved to hunt and fish, accompanied by family and friends.

Dale was a kind soul who would help anyone who needed it. Dale was a family man who held the highest honor to. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Amanda Pennington of Lead Mine, and Matthew Pennington, of Thomas.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Pennington.

Dale's wishes to be cremated have been honored and no services are scheduled. The Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes - Davis Chapel, is honred to be serving the Pennington family at this time.
