David Lee Lucente, 75, of Canaan Valley, WV died May 7, 2015 at Mon General Hospital.
He was born July 1, 1939 in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late Frank and Daisy Devono Lucente. He is survived by his wife, Marlane Miller Lucente, 1 daughter; Amanda Dawn and husband Michael Simmons of Canaan Valley, WV, 2 sisters; Rose Lucente and Becky Lucente both of Bridgeport, WV and 2 grandchildren; Emily Simmons and Brock Simmons. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers; John, Tony, Joe and Frank and 3 sisters; Jenny Jeno, Katie Papsiderio, and Margaret Jane.
David was self employed in the gas and coal industry. He was a member of the Board of Directors for Tucker County Senior Citizens. He was a member of the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church. David loved Jesus and enjoyed visiting his church family and neighbors.
A Celebration of Life for David will be held on Sunday May 10, 2015 at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Sebastian presiding. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
