Dèsirè Baker

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Dèsirè Joy "DJ" Baker, was born into Heaven. Though his time on earth was short, the love we hold for him is eternal. DJ's tiny heartbeat and precious life reminded us of God's miracles, and even in silence, he brought us joy.

DJ is the cherished son of Bella Marie Shifflet and Skylar Cane Baker. He is the treasured grandchild of David and Priscilla Baker, and Patrick and Rachale Shifflet; and the loved nephew, cousin, and family member to so many who would have welcomed him into this world with open arms.

Though we never had the chance to watch him grow, DJ's life has forever changed ours. His memory is woven into our hearts, and he will always be a part of our family story. We take comfort in knowing he is cradled safely in the arms of Jesus, where there is no pain, only peace.

We will never forget DJ's presence in our lives. Each day we carry him in our thoughts, our prayers, and our love. His name will be spoken, his memory celebrated, and his place in our family honored.

Though our arms are empty, our hearts are full of love for our sweet DJ. Until the day we meet again in Heaven, we will hold him close in faith and memory.
