Ethyl Wotring

Ethyl Faye Wotring, 77, of Oakland, MD died on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Dennett Road Manor. She was born on September 12, 1942, in Kitzmiller, the daughter of the late Wesley and Millie (Rowe) Whitacre. Ethyl was a member of the Loch Lynn Church of God. She cleaned the office at Kights Insurance in Oakland but her true passion was taking care of her husband, Darrell and son, Phillip. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Wotring, Jr., to whom she was married in 1963, in May of 2017; their son, Phillip Raymond Wotring in March 2017; two sisters, June Whitacre and Dorothy Sines; two brothers, Thurman and Clarence Whitacre and a sister-in-law, Yvonne Whitacre. She is survived by a brother, Herbert Whitacre and wife Patty of Kitzmiller; a sister-in-law, Betty Whitacre of Oakland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 11 AM to 12 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Cindy Ackerman and Pastor Ivan Ackerman officiating. A private interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery.
