Jeffrey James Hamilton, 64, of Mountain Lake Park, passed away on February 13, 2026, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on November 13, 1962, he was the son of Robert and Patricia (Casey) Hamilton.
For many years, Jeff poured his heart and expertise into his work as a painter with RPM Construction, where his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality earned him the well-deserved promotion to foreman. Known for being the last one to leave the job site, he refused to walk away until every stroke was perfect and every surface flawless, embodying pride in a job well done. Outside of work, Jeff found joy in life's simple pleasures-cheering for his favorite football teams, dominating at shuffleboard, keeping his lawn impeccably manicured, cooling off with a swim, and, above all, doting on his cherished friends and family with warmth, humor, and steadfast devotion. His generous spirit, quiet strength, and infectious love for those around him will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kim (Calhoun) Hamilton, to whom he was married on June 19, 1999; his children, Kati Diane Przystup and husband Ian of Washington, PA, Jonathan Ward Hamilton of Oakland, and Tiffany Marie Dean and husband Jeremy of McHenry; grandchildren, Lorraina Kate Hamilton, Sloane Iris Przystup, Stevee Jane Przystup, Harper Grace Dean, Benjamin Clyde Dean, and Bowie Edward Dean; siblings, Karen and Denny Reid of Pittsburgh, PA, and Michael and Cathy Hamilton and their children, Michael and Elizabeth, all of Pittsburgh, PA; niece, Julie Habazon and husband Tim; great-niece, Kelsey Habazon; nephew, Christopher Reid and wife Tiffany; great-nephews, Cole and Sawyer Reid; special friends, the entire Swift Family, Mark and Holly Battenfield, Debbie Eck, Toad and Melissa, Amy Marple, Michael Shahan, and Dawn Stemple.
One of Jeff's last wishes in life was to be able to help someone else, and he had the honor of being an organ donor.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 12 PM, in the Elks Lodge, 527 Hamill St, Oakland, MD 21550. Immediately after the service, a reception will follow until 4 PM, with all welcomed to attend.
The Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A. - Oakland Chapel is honored to be serving the Hamilton family.
