Jessie Darlene Delaney, 62, of Oakland, MD died February 27, 2016 at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 29, 1953 in Cleveland, OH a daughter of Levi Franklin and Bessie Jane Slaubaugh Sell. Also surviving are her husband, Delmar Wayne Delaney, 1 son, Danny Jay Cottrell, Keyser, WV, 1 daughter, Tonya Jo Cottrell and companion Craig of Jessup, MD, 2 step daughters, Nicole (Bob) King, Dearborn, MI, Gabrielle Delaney, Spring Grove, PA, 1 sister, Jane (Richard) Knotts, Thomas, WV, 3 grandchildren, Lacy M. (Paul) Bowman, Short Gap, WV, Emily Dee Cottrell, Keyser, WV, Brianna Alexis Der, Jessup, MD, 1 great-grandson, Brantley A. Bowman, Short Gap, WV and 9 step grandchildren. Jessie worked at Garrett County Memorial Hospital as a unit secretary. She was a member of FOE#936 of Davis, WV, and she enjoyed travelling, festivals, beaches and casinos. Friends will be received on Tuesday March, 1 at Hinkle Funeral Home from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday March, 2 at Hinkle Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev.
