Katherine Pearl DeWitt, 93, of Morgantown, WV died May 1, 2012.
She was born September 23, 1917 in Davis, WV a daughter of the late Edgar Guy and Gertrude Veronica Hivick Meyer. She is survived by 1 son; Robert D. (Diane) DeWitt, Fairview, WV, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Paul, Charles, Herman and infants Robert and Edgar, 4 sisters; Mary Marshall, Rose Meyer, Zita Rookwood and Gertrude Meyer. Katherine was a veteran of the Army Nurses Corp during WWII. She retired as a registered nurse and was a member of St. Francis DeSalles Catholic Church of Morgantown.
At the request of the deceased a private burial was held May 4, 2012 at the Davis Cemetery.
