Margaret Jamison

March 27, 1931 — September 6, 2025

Oakland, MD & Manor, PA

Margaret Eileen Jamison (nee Watson), 94, of Oakland, Maryland and Manor, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1931, to parents John R. Watson and Nellie Bantyne Watson in Eckhart, Maryland. Eileen graduated from Beall High School (now Mountain Ridge) in Frostburg, MD. She attended the West Penn School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated as an RN. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, H. Robert Jamison. She is survived by her children, Peggy Jamison (Gayle) and J.R. Jamison (Lee Ann); grandchildren, Aaron Jamison and Reilly Jamison; nephews, Tim Eichhorn (Beth), Randy Eichhorn (Erika), Matt Eichhorn (Amber) and other beloved great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Eileen was a loving mother who adored her family. She cherished their annual 4th of July celebrations at her second home on Deep Creek Lake where she frequently spent time over the past 70 years. She loved running, water skiing and snow skiing, and she rarely missed the Great Race in Pittsburgh. In her later years, if she wasn't spending time with her family or baking her legendary, secret pancake recipe for them, she could be found cuddling her cat Angel or playing solitaire with her cards. Eileen was a woman of faith who was an active member of her church community, singing in the Deep Creek Baptist Church choir for many years. She served the Pittsburgh community as a nurse at West Penn Hospital for over a decade and was the office manager at Pittsburgh Urological Associates for the remainder of her career, retiring at the age of 63.
