Patricia Price

Patricia Louise Price, 82, of Aurora, was promoted to Glory on January 13, 2026. Born on June 14, 1943, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Arlie R. and Viola V. (Calhoun) Shahan.

Patricia served with unwavering dedication as a Major in the Salvation Army, where she exemplified compassion, leadership, and a deep commitment to helping others. A faithful member of the Loch Lynn Church of God, she found spiritual nourishment and fellowship within her congregation. She also contributed generously to her community as Treasurer for the Aurora Methodist Women's Fellowship, handling her responsibilities with care and grace. In her personal life, Patricia found great joy in creative hobbies, including scrapbooking, crafting intricate diamond dot pictures, and cherishing memories. Her days began with quiet devotion as she immersed herself in her beloved "Mornings Spent with Jesus" Bible study, a cherished time of reflection, prayer, and connection with God that set the tone for everything she did. Through her service, faith, creativity, and daily walk with the Lord, Patricia lived a life filled with purpose, kindness, and heartfelt devotion.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Price of Elizabethton, TN; her grandson, Jared Price of Aurora; her sister, Charlene Copeland of Oakland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Price; and her daughter, Karen Price.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10 AM to 11 AM, at the Loch Lynn Church of God. A memorial service will follow beginning at 11 AM, with pastors Ivan and Cindy officiating. The Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A. - Oakland Chapel, is honored to be serving the Price family.
