Paul Seegren

Paul Gregory Seegren, 65, of Eldersburg, MD, passed away on October 14, 2025, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on July 30, 1960, in York, England, he was the son of the late Norman and Lois Seegren.

Paul graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree in Economics. He worked as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter and retired from Travelers. He loved being in West Virginia and spending time with his family. Paul was a big sports fan especially of the Commanders, Nebraska, and the Orioles. He also loved NASCAR, fishing, and relaxing while watching TV. He especially enjoyed coaching his boys when they were young, something that brought him great pride and joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Anceravage) Seegren; children, Paul William Seegren and wife Dawn, Philip Vincent Seegren and wife Taylor, and Christopher Gregory Seegren; grandchildren, Logan Gold, Reagan Gold, and William Seegren; sisters, Meri Jones and husband Johnny, Karen Burns and husband Neil, and Cyndy Peed and husband Gary; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Della and Paul Guthrie.

Friends will be received at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A. - Oakland Chapel, 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, with Deacon John Hess officiating.
