Pauline Mae (Paugh) Kitzmiller, 95, of Kitzmiller, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2025. Born in Kitzmiller, she was the daughter of the late General Miles Paugh and Myrtle Ethel (Harvey) Paugh.
Pauline graduated from "Kitzy High" in 1949. Her senior motto was, "The greatest pleasure of life is love", so she married her high school sweetheart, U.Lynn Kitzmiller, Jr., they were married for 56 years until his death on December 19, 2007.
Pauline and Lynn lived in Tallmadge, OH, for 35 years, where they raised their three children. After her husband retired from Yellow Trucking, Pauline and Lynn moved back to her childhood home in Kitzmiller. Pauline loved to garden, sew, bake, decorate her home and take care of her many pets. The family was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her children, Terry Lee Kitzmiller and wife Mary Jo; Cathy Louise Brogan and husband Bruce; five grandchildren, Timothy David Fowler and wife Madison, Matthew Paul Fowler, Deborah Lee Kitzmiller-Anicas and husband John, Teresa May Kitzmiller-Whiteman and husband Jake, Nicole Lynn Brogam-McManus and husband Bob; three step grandchildren, Mattew, Scott, and Andy Brogan; and several great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Lynn Kitzmiller, and her five brothers, Theodore, Pete, Albert, David and Vernon Lee.
The family would like to thank Dennett Rehab Center for their loving care of Pauline. She will be buried by her husband Lynn, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV. There are no services scheduled at this time.
