Phyllis Gaither

Phyllis Arlene Gaither, 74, of Bayard, WV died on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on April 24, 1943, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Rollie Martin and Goldie Mae (Markley) Smith. She had been working for the Dollar Tree in Oakland. Phyllis dearly loved spending time with her grandkids and her dogs. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lynn Eggleston and Beth Ann Friend and husband Chad, all of Oakland; grandchildren, Brady Kitzmiller, Savanna Kitzmiller, Emily Eggleston, Ava Ann Friend and Ryder Friend, all of Oakland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Grant Gaither. According to her wishes, all services were private.
