Regina Ann (Savage) Calhoun, 63, of Oakland, passed away on June 7, 2025, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on December 18, 1961, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Savage and Patsy Nine.

She dedicated countless years to serving Garrett County as a compassionate and skilled EMT. Her passion for helping others shone brightly through her tireless work on the squad, where she thrived on the adrenaline and camaraderie of emergency response. Beyond her professional commitment, Regina cherished every moment spent with her family, finding joy and balance in their love and support.

She is survived by the father of her kids and her best friend, Gary Johnson; her daughter, Kristie Johnson and friend Daniel of Kitzmiller, and her children, Keystin Johnson and Harley Evans; her daughter, Brittney Holliday and husband Eric of Grantsville, and her children, Tyrek Holliday, Kizmie Johnson, and Fate Holliday; six special people whom she thought of as her own children, Johnny Thorp and wife Hope, Brandy Krause, Josh Perez, Pebbles Perez, and J.R. Perez; three honorary grandchildren, Braxton, Hunter, and Kasandra; two stepsisters, Crystal Bohrer and Kimmy Stein; two brothers, Steven Savage and Warren Savage; two special cousins that were more like sisters, Diane White and Connie Savage; nieces and nephews, Brandy Luciano, Logan Zinn, Christopher Horton, William Collins, Robert Collins, Dwight Kroon Jr., and Steven Savage, Jr.; great nephews and nieces, Jared Southern, Justin Collins, Gauge Luciano, Anikyn and Kiyan Horton, and Layla Zinn; and her best friends, Traci Rodeheaver and husband Larry and Tiffine Maul.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Bradley Savage; step mother, Norma Jean Savage; two sisters, Debra Kroon and Karen Barry; and Dale Frazee, who was like a son to her.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM, at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A. - Oakland Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastors David and Ruth Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
