Ressie L. Conrad, 83, of Aurora, passed away on February 18, 2026, at Dennett Rehab Center. Born on August 30, 1942, in Copen, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ruby (Sands) Wine.
Ressie, a proud 1960 graduate of Burnsville High School, dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home as a devoted homemaker. She cherished her family above all, finding her greatest joy in the laughter and milestones of her beloved grandchildren, who brought endless light to her days. A passionate sports enthusiast, she faithfully followed the Pittsburgh Steelers and West Virginia University (WVU) football, cheering enthusiastically for her teams through every season. Deeply rooted in her community, Ressie was an active and faithful member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, where her faith guided her daily life. She also proudly belonged to the Mt. View Rebekah's Lodge, the Aurora Community Association, and the Aurora CEOS, contributing her time, energy, and kind spirit to strengthen the bonds of friendship and service among her neighbors in Aurora. Her legacy of family devotion, community involvement, and unwavering enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures will long be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, David Conrad; two grandchildren, Daniel Conrad and wife Amanda, and Zachary Conrad; and three siblings, Laurel Martin, Janette Cincurak, and Jean Meeks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Billy Conrad; her son, Gary Conrad; and four siblings, Etta Gae Anderson, Lorene Williams, Joann Ratliff, and John Wine.

Friends will be received on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 12 PM to 2 PM, the Aurora United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Mike Lantz officiating. Interment will follow in the Aurora Cemetery.
