Richard William Reckart, 68, of Oakland died on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. Born on January 12, 1946 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Everett and Noma Reckart. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his friends. He is survived by a sister, Naomi Reckart and a number of nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and a number of sisters. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, March 24th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment will take place in the Deer Park Cemetery.
