Shirley Harvey

Shirley J. Harvey, 75, of Oakland, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on August 9, 1940 in Freeport, WV, Shirley was the daughter of the late Pauline W. (Lewis) Kight and Benjamin W. Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph W. Stottlemeyer and a sister, Sarah James. Shirley retired from Garrett Memorial Hospital where she worked as a nursing assistant. She also worked at Cuppett & Weeks Nursing Home in Oakland. Shirley attended the Loch Lynn Church of God. Shirley is survived by her brothers, Robert W. Lewis of Kingwood and Fred E. Lewis and wife Katherine of Corinth; an aunt, Ruby Moyers of Kingwood; two nephews, Timothy E. Lewis, Sr. of Terra Alta and Butch James of Oakland; great nieces and nephews, Timothy E. Lewis, Jr., Trevor Lewis, Tiffany Lewis, Carol James, Crystal James and J.J. James. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Loch Lynn Church of God. Arrangements have been entrusted to C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland.
