Shirley Kight

Shirley Ann Kight, 73, of Oakland, MD, passed away on January 9, 2023, at Dennett Road Manor. Born on April 4, 1949, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter to the late Virgil O. and Doris June (Markley) Kight.

Shirley's love of God was her light. There was rarely a time she wasn't sharing His word or praying. She loved to play the keyboard and sing along. Shirley worked at Appalachian Crossroads for years, during which she had made many lifelong friends. She will be missed by many.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 noon at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home with Pastor William C. Skipper officiating.
